How it works
Each month consists of a bite size live 'Learning Lab', around 1.5 to 2.5 hrs long where we discuss key concepts of leadership, strategy and execution - and how they apply in your organisation on the real business strategy. Each month, participants are asked to build one new leadership habit between sessions, and work with their project groups to apply what they learnt on a live strategic project.
7 Modules
Bite size training modules, called Learning Labs, go through leading self, understanding strategy, translating the business strategy to your area, and executing the strategy with your team.
Monthly cadence
Each month we focus on one behaviour or project, and support it with one bite size (1.5 to 2.5 hrs) online live Learning Lab, supported by pre-reading beforehand, and digital coaching afterwards
Strategy projects
Participants are put in cross-functional working groups to work on whole-of-business strategic projects - these can be a real part of your business growth strategy, or proactive ideas to find new markets, or improve ways of working
Behaviour change
Our behaviour change platform helps participants apply what they learnt. Participants commit to a new 'habit' at teach live workshop and set up a 30 day habit builder. They get regular reminders and coaching tips.
Why it’s different
Most leadership programs are actually management programs in disguise, focused on fundamentals like managing people. Our program empowers leaders to really lead - to be at the forefront of your organisation's growth and transformation. And to get hands-on experience leading strategy.
With a typical training program, only around 10% of people actually apply what they learnt - according to the American Association of Training. Our learning journey is supported by our habit-builder technology which converts what you learnt into a simple, easy new habit. We support leaders to implement their new habit over the 30 days after each live workshop through reminders, nudges and personalised suggestions.
The results
Measurable behaviour change
We measure the program results through behaviour change metrics - did we see participants make progress on new leadership habits?
In a program for 10 leaders we saw a behavioural shifts of between +34% and +119% after each module.
Here, you can see how a group of leaders started out rating themselves 3 out of 10 on a specific leadership behaviour, and 29 days later, their ratings were up to 7 out of 10. That amounts to +119% behavioural change across the group.
Is this for you?
Every year we will run a limited number of Strategic Leader programs for groups of leaders. We do not run 'public' programs, i.e. with people from different organisations. This program is NOT for you if a) you don't want to empower your next level leaders b) you don't have a clear strategy and a need to transform your organisation.
