Building Strategic Capacity

Define your true north with our
6-week
Strategy Sprint

You have ideas to build a better business.
As a leader, you have lots of ideas of how you could make your organisation better.

There are things you see happening that you want to fix.

Processes you want to improve.

New ideas and markets you want to explore.

How you can put them all together in a cohesive strategy?
But "strategy" can be frustrating
There are a lot of ways the strategy process can go wrong.

The end product - the strategy itself - can be totally vanilla. Like a plan to improve everything the organisation does a little bit.

The strategy can be totally unrealistic, claiming you can double market share by launching 3 new products - even though there is no legacy of growth or expertise in product development.

The strategy can get lost-in-translation, because it is too tightly held within the leadership, and only shared with the wider team in a town hall meeting and a follow up email.

And of course, the strategy might be brilliant, but the execution is woefully slow.

You need to harness the collective intelligence of your team to define and execute a powerful strategy.
So we built the 6-week Strategy Sprint
We've put together a 6-week sprint to you Map Your Strategy. The 6-week Sprint sees us working alongside you and some of your senior team to create shared understanding of where you are today, what the future could look like, and how you get there.

1. Week 1: The Start Line. Let's gather the facts to understand your organisation today. How well does it create value for customers? How well is it structured to efficiently deliver that value? And how does it monetise the value it creates? Gather all the facts about current performance.

2. Week 3: The Finish Line. Given the organisation's current trajectory, and the trends in the market, where and how does the organisation need to evolve? What does a better business model look like, what results might be evident, and how might this translate into goals, KPIs and strategic initiatives? Create a dashboard and goals map.

3. Week 6: The Journey. In order to get from the Start to the Finish, what are the stages of the journey? How do you turn your ideas into a sequential plan, allowing for testing & learning along the way? Create the roadmap, governance and communications plan to support execution.
